Smart Meter
Cellular blood glucose monitoring system with a 2.8-inch color LCD touchscreen and horizontal test-strip insertion. Readings transmit over 4G LTE through Smart Meter’s Private Data Network via Multi-SIM multicarrier technology. Includes four status markers (breakfast, exercise, carbs, insulin), 1,000-reading memory with date and time stamps, and on-device averages across 1–90 day windows.

2.8” Color Touchscreen
2.8-inch color LCD touchscreen interface with Log, Take Measurement, Support, and Setting tiles for on-device navigation.
Measurement Range
Measures blood glucose from 20 to 600 mg/dL. Readings outside this range display as HI or LO.
5-Second Test Time
Returns a result in five seconds. Blood sample size of 0.75–3.0 microliters.
Automatic Strip Coding
Auto-Code detects the test strip code automatically. No manual code entry required.
Four Status Markers
Four status markers (Breakfast, Exercise, Carbs, Insulin) can be attached to each reading and are displayed next to the measurement value.
1,000-Reading Memory
On-device memory stores up to 1,000 readings with date and time stamps.
On-Device Averages
Displays blood glucose averages across 1, 7, 14, 30, 60, and 90-day windows directly on the meter.
Multiple Measuring Sites
Supports fingertip, forearm, and palm testing. Forearm and palm sites are not approved when testing for insulin dose calculation or suspected hypoglycemia.
FDA Cleared
FDA-cleared blood glucose monitoring system for fresh capillary whole blood samples. Not approved for neonatal use, diagnosis, screening, or multi-patient use.
Connectivity
Multi-SIM™ Multicarrier Cellular
Multi-SIM technology selects the strongest available cellular network at the device’s location.
Private Data Network
Data is transmitted over Smart Meter’s Private Data Network, a closed transport between the device and the platform.
No App, No Pairing
Operates over cellular only. No app installation, WiFi configuration, or Bluetooth pairing required.
Offline Store-and-Forward
When no cellular connection is available, readings are stored locally and transmitted once the network becomes available again.
Airplane Mode
Airplane Mode setting disables cellular transmission. Transmission resumes when the setting is turned off.
EHR Integration
Readings flow from the device through the CareSimple platform into the connected EHR.
