Smart Meter
Cellular-connected fingertip pulse oximeter with an OLED color display, one-button operation, and an adjustable finger spring. Readings transmit over 4G LTE via Multi-SIM multicarrier technology to Smart Meter’s Private Data Network. Measures SpO2 across 0–100% (±3% accuracy from 70–100%) and pulse rate from 25–250 bpm. Clinical trial included participants with dark skin per FDA requirements. Supports RPM reimbursement under CPT codes 98975, 98976, 98977, 98980, and 98981.
Clinical features
SpO2 Measurement
Measures SpO2 across 0–100%. ±3% accuracy in the 70–100% range. Low-perfusion accuracy ±3% from 70–100% with perfusion index 0.5–20%.
Pulse Rate Measurement
Pulse rate measurement range 25–250 bpm with ±2 bpm accuracy. Minimum pulse to measure: 30 bpm.
Low-Perfusion Performance
Maintains SpO2 and pulse-rate accuracy down to a perfusion index of 0.5%, supporting readings on patients with poor peripheral circulation.
Dark-Skin Clinical Validation
Underwent clinical trial in compliance with the FDA requirement that at least 15% of participants have dark skin.

Plethysmogram Waveform
On-screen plethysmogram waveform and pulse-rate indicator for visual confirmation of signal quality during measurement.

Adjustable Finger Spring
Spring-loaded fingertip clip adjusts to finger size. Sensor is placed horizontally and held parallel with the heart for measurement.
